Overarching Research Theme 2015 Suggested topic: Globalization and Regionalization In past ERI-Net studies, this has emerged as one of the key drivers of educational initiatives and reforms in Asia-Pacific region.

Possible research questions What are the impact of globalization on your country, and the Asia-Pacific region? What are the impact of globalization on education sector? What kind of education policies are needed for countries to benefit from globalization while avoiding its caveat?

Possible Research Topics: Higher Education (research area 1) Possible topics are : National Qualifications Framework and Regional Qualifications Framework Government Regulations on Cross-border Higher Education National Policies and Institutional Strategies on Open Platforms (e.g., MOOCs, open journals)
