Overview What is OPC? OLE for Process Control The Yaskawa OPC Server is a software application that enables Ethernet communication between any OPC Client and the MP2000Siec. What do I need to use OPC? Software platform that supports OPC OPC is Windows technology ProConOS OPC Server 2.1 One development version supplied with each copy of MotionWorks IEC Licensed copy must be purchased for each machine installation Any OPC Client software Kepware Advosol Link to “OPC.OUT.PCOS.21”

Getting started… Install the OPC server to the target PC ProConOS OPC-Server 2.1 Desktop_build99.exe

Configure the OPC server Run: OPCConfig.exe

Click settings…to set the IP address of the controller

Test the OPC A test client comes with Yaskawa’s OPC Server Run: OPCClient.exe
