3. A Short Walk in the Hindu Kush by Eric Newb This book spins around an author’s journey through one of the most remote and beautiful wilderness on earth. It is an autobiographical account of his adventures in the Hindu Kush, around the mountains of Afghanistan.

Where it inspired me to visit: Well, I was in Chennai when I had completed this book and I was dumbstruck at the beauty of an adventurous trip.
