Mercury The diameter of this planet is 4.880 kilometres. The average temperature on it is from -167C to 427C. It takes the planet 88 days to orbit the Sun. There is no life on Mercury.

Venus The diameter of this planet is 12.100 kilometres. The average temperature is 472C. It takes the planet nearly 225 days to orbit the Sun. It is the hottest planet. There is no life on Venus.

The Earth The diameter of this planet is 12.800 kilometres. The average temperature is from -51C to 48C. It takes the planet 365 days to orbit the Sun. There is life on the Earth.

Mars The diameter of this planet is 6.780 kilometres. The average temperature is from -123C to -30C. It takes the planet nearly 687 days to orbit the Sun. There is no life on Mars.

Jupiter The diameter of this planet is 142.600 kilometres. It is the biggest planet. The average temperature is -117C. It takes the planet 11.9 years to orbit the Sun. There is no life on Jupiter.

Saturn The diameter of this planet is 120.000 kilometres. The average temperature is -180C. It takes the planet 29.46 years to orbit the Sun. There is no life on Saturn.

Uranus The diameter of this planet is 50.800 kilometres. The average temperature is -221C. It is the coldest planet. It takes the planet 84.01 years to orbit the Sun. There is no life on Uranus.

Neptune The diameter of this planet is 49.500 kilometres. The average temperature is -216C. It takes the planet 165 years to orbit the Sun. There is no life on Neptune.
