4.3.2 – Graphing 3 Inequalities
From yesterday, we learned about graphing a system with 2 inequalities Where are the solutions? How do you test your solutions?
We can extend the same ideas of solutions and systems to a system with 3 inequalities Solutions still the overlapped area Lines must still be correct (dashed vs. solid)
3 Inequalities Often with 3 inequalities, we will form something similar to a triangle Look for the area where the shading meets within the triangle formed in most cases
Example. Graph the following system. y ≤ x
Example. Graph the following system. y < 2x y ≥ -2
Example. Graph the following system. y < -2x + 6
