Education and Training 2 Critical for efficient and effective use of IT Advanced functionalities of a software package may not be used fully due to a lack of learning of end users.

Education and Training 3 What is needed? What do they want? Computer literacy considered On the job training

Education and Training 4 Important in public and private sectors, but less likely to be supported by sufficient budgets. Rather than cost to be minimized but a core component of information systems. Not one-time but ongoing endeavor depending on the IT literacy of employees.

Impacts of Education Relationship with users’ satisfaction. More educated, more likely to be satisfied? More educated, more willing to use and more likely to use effectively? Relationship with IS implementation? Contingent model (Sharma & Yetton 2007)
