What is Informative Speech? A speech to share knowledge and information information clear accurate relevant interesting

Types of Informative Speech Speech about people, animals, national parks, art objects, buildings, etc. About an object Speech about how something is done, made, or works. About a process Speech about historical or recent events About an event Speech about a concept, principle, philosophy, ideology, etc. About a concept

Organizing an Informative Speech Introduction: why the information is important BRIEFLY preview main points Move from the MOST IMPORTANT facts to the LEAST If it is a process, start with the first step and explain it SUMMARIZE: review the main points Ask for audience questions
