Step 1 Log-In to Family Connection Click on the Colleges Tab Click on “colleges I’m thinking about”

Click on add colleges to this list Step 3 Click on add colleges to this list
Click on “lookup” to find colleges Step 5 Click on “lookup” to find colleges
Step 6 Choose a college from the college picker or search for a school if you don’t see it listed
Set your interest level Click Add Colleges Step 7 Set your interest level Click Add Colleges
Check the boxes next to the schools you are applying to Step 8 Check the boxes next to the schools you are applying to Click Move to Application List
Check Request Transcript Click Add Applications Step 9 Select a decision type Check Request Transcript Click Add Applications
Match to Common App
Click on Colleges I’m Applying to Step 1 Click on Colleges Click on Colleges I’m Applying to You must first have selected schools you are applying to in order to match your Common App Account to Family Connection
Complete the Common App Account Matching Step 2 Complete the Common App Account Matching Using the Common App is not required, but it is recommended
Requesting Letters of Recommendation
Click on Letters of Recommenda tion Step 1 Click on Colleges Click on Letters of Recommenda tion You must first have selected schools you are applying to in order to request Letters of Recommendation
Step 2 Click Add Request
Follow instructions to request a teacher and select a school Step 3 Follow instructions to request a teacher and select a school
