Progress Reports and Grading Standards-based report cards 4: Exceeding 3: Proficient 2: Approaching 1: Beginning Grading in first grade is based on common assessments, district assessments performance based assessments, and in-class observations

Homework This year, our only required homework will be to read for 10 minutes, 3-4 days per week. Our hope is that students will use their time after school to play a sport, develop hobbies, learn to play an instrument, help out at home and build important family and social connections.
