Background and Profile Established in Kansas City, MO in 1977 by a group of African American motorcycle clubs, the National Bikers Roundup (Roundup) is governed by bylaws created by the Motorcycle Clubs that attend. Roundup is a prominent annual “reunion-type” event among the multicultural motorcycle riding community. Eagerly anticipated by more than 1,000 motorcycle riding clubs (15-30K attendees) that attend each year, Roundup is viewed as the largest camping motorcycle rally in the country. The location changes each year and returns every 10th year to Kansas City, MO. Profile Roundup is a family-friendly multicultural motorcycle event with an accent on participation. It is viewed as the “must attend” motorcycle event of the year. Roundup events and activities serve to unite the motorcycle community, celebrate accomplishments and rejoice in fellowship and camaraderie among the motorcycle riding community.
