SOLAR PROJECT UPDATE Current status: Up and running at all sites. Bagby, Price, and Farnham still need switchgear fencing. Minor landscaping fixes needed. Project in closeout phase.

SAFETY AND SECURITY (FENCING) PROJECT UPDATE Current status: Current cost forecast for new security fencing and replacement of the existing District fencing is: $3.0M. 95% of fencing work is complete at all schools. Plan is to complete all Security Project work by August 2015.

STEINDORF K-8 PROJECT UPDATE Current status: Current cost estimate is $21.7M. Plans were approved by DSA on May 22. Put out to bid June 3. Bid opening will take place June 24. Plan is to award construction contracts at Special Board Meeting end of June. Bid alternates included in bid packet allowing Board to reduce cost after bids are being identified.

STEINDORF K-8 PROJECT UPDATE Current status: CEQA mitigated negative declaration was approved by Board at May 21 Board Meeting. Board approved PG&E substructure to General Lighting Service via lease leaseback contract May 7 to save two months. Work is planned to be completed by end of August.

STEINDORF TENANT RELOCATIONS Current status: Renovation of old shop (Learning Pathways & Chrysallis), old Boardroom (Learning Pathways), and installation of new Bagby Portable (After School Adventures) are near completion. Includes play space at District Office. Final punch lists have been created and we hope to have all completed by mid-June.

PRICE CEILINGS AND LIGHTING PROJECT UPDATE Current status: Contracts were awarded to General Lighting for electrical and Beals Martin for general trades. Value engineering of insulation installation scope lowered contract price by approximately $110k.

DISTRICT OFFICE NEW PDC/SHOP PROJECT UPDATE Current status: Putting out to bid March 28. Bid opening June 16. Plan to award LLB contract to Bruns Belmont, site work contracts, and consulting contracts at June 18 Board Meeting.

FUTURE MEASURE I PROJECTS The Measure I projects currently in planning or construction are of high priority. Prioritization and planning of other Measure I projects is on hold until after the Steindorf K- 8 project is bid out to contractors. (Bid Opening in June) Having an accurate cost forecast of the Steindorf project is crucial for knowing how much Measure I funding will be available to the Governing Board for future projects. We would like to schedule a board workshop for future project planning in July and August.
