Optional excursions Versailles: Join an optional excursion to the grand palace of Versailles, where Louis XIV held court in the most lavish style imaginable. On a tour, stroll through the elegantly landscaped gardens, the historic Hall of Mirrors, and the ornately decorated State Apartments. Note: Versailles is closed on Mondays. London Eye: Soar into the sky aboard the London Eye, a 40-story, 32- capsule observation wheel that offers spectacular views of the city. Also enjoy the 4D Experience, a 3D film complete with in-theater special effects like wind, snow and mist. Sweet Taste of Italy: Discover why food plays such an integral role in Italy’s culture as you dive into this hands-on cooking class. Together with expert chefs, learn how to make delicious gelato, cookies, and biscuits. As you make the treats, your chefs will share stories about the importance of food in Italy, including the history of biscuits and why they’re used to celebrate special days. You’ll find out the tricks of Italian cuisine, learn all about the ingredients you’re using, and walk away with a new (delicious) Italian vocabulary. At the end of the class, you’ll be able to taste and enjoy what you and your group have created. You’ll also be able to take cookies home (if there’s any left!). The deadline to enroll on any new optional excursions will be 50 days prior to departure.

Packing Pack light: We will be responsible for loading our own luggage on and off the bus and into hotels. You are responsible for any luggage handling fees charged by the airlines. See the fees at eftours.com/baggage Carry any valuables or medications in your EF backpack or carry-on. Pack a change of clothes in your carry-on in case your luggage is lost.
