End-point assessment recap EPA must be carried out by an approved Apprentice Assessment Organisation (AAO) They must be independent from the employer, provider and apprentice The apprenticeship grade is decided by the AAO The AAO applies for the apprenticeship certificate (sent directly to employer) .
