Attention should be paid until after noon on the 6th. Inundation: Caution should be taken until 3:00 a.m. on the 6th. Attention should be paid until 3:00 a.m. on the 6th.        Precipitation of up to 60 mm an hour is expected. Rainfall will            peak late at night on the 5th. Flood: Caution should be taken until 3:00 a.m. on the 6th.     Attention should be paid until 6:00 a.m. on the 6th. Additional notes: flows, gusting winds

D Local news at 2:00 p.m. on 5 October The very strong typhoon No. 15 is likely to land on the prefecture between noon and evening on the 6th. We’re likely to see strong thunderstorms * brought by typhoon rainclouds between noon on the 5th and the evening of the 6th. Around 250 mm of rain is expected to fall within the 24-hour period from noon on the 5th. The Meteorological Office advises that the typhoon resembles the very strong typhoon No. 10 that caused significant disaster conditions in the prefecture 12 years ago. Be cautious of inundation, landslides, flooding and swollen rivers. Keep an eye out for further typhoon information and warning announcements. Heavy rain is predicted for this area. Precipitation of 60 mm within an hour is expected. * The thunderstorms referred to here would bring precipitation of 50 – 80 mm per hour.
