End Rhyme vs. Internal Rhyme End rhyme: When the last syllable (beat) of each line rhymes. I think I shall never see A poem as lovely as a tree Internal rhyme: rhyme that occurs between words within a verse line. “While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping”
