Scientists who study weather are called Meteorologists Scientists who study weather are called Meteorologists. A meteorologist uses tools to measure the weather. Thermometer Measures the temperature of the air.

Rain Gauge Measures the amount of precipitation.

Barometer An instrument used to measure atmospheric pressure Can be high and low pressure
