New Teacher Network Objectives To develop a sense of ownership and empowerment by recognizing the supportive culture of our community and School District 27-J To gain an understanding of the District’s Student Achievement goals To participate in a culture of reflection, collaboration and networking through a fun and engaging shared experience To receive relative information and support as new District 27J Certified Staff 2:45 – 2:50 Review objectives and remind T that these are the objectives for our current 5 days of induction (NTN) and throughout the year (Long term). Our GOAL today is bullet point four! Induction is required for our district even if you completed induction in another district. You get a salary credit even if you already have a professional license if you attend these classes through induction – You don’t have to pay! If you took these classes outside of induction you would have to pay!

Induction Be prepared! “Don’t get caught off guard!”  2:45 – 2:50 Share new teacher story and emphasize the importance of being prepared/plan/Connection to being caught off guard by my experience with Gino and Pokemon Go! Caption: “Don’t get caught off guard!” (i.e. Induction)

Today’s Objective Induction To receive relative information and support as new District 27J Certified Staff: Goals 1.
