The Bagpipes Early bagpipes were made out of animal skin with hollow leg bones of small animals. Into the holes they drilled small holes to produce different tones and pitches. The bag was made of sheep leather. It was made by treating it with honey or molasses.

The Pipes Made of hardwood Decorated with ivory and silver

The Drones Lay across the pipers shoulder and produce a constant humming sound. Every bagpipe is not the same in that there can be to different drones on some, the tenor and the bass.

The Chanter A pipe that has holes in it. Allows a melody to be played with the fingers

The Blowpipe Has a one-way valve to keep the bag full Then squeezed under the arm to force air out of the other four pipes
