The Priory Federation of Academies Linking Education to Employment

Working in Partnership The Priory Federation of Academies (PFoA) works in partnership with a number of local Care Providers, Primary and Secondary schools. The academies work with The Education and Business Partnership to ensure the safety and well being of our students whilst they are out on placement.

Launched at PCLA in September 2013 – following a Year of Planning Career Academies UK Launched at PCLA in September 2013 – following a Year of Planning 1st June 2015 the programme became Career Ready Provides employers and secondary schools with a structured approach to developing and maintaining links between education and employment

The Priory City of Lincoln Career Academy is now in its second year. Career Ready The Priory City of Lincoln Career Academy is now in its second year. The Local Advisory Board was initially chaired by Karl McCartney, MP for Lincoln. Business Mentors Internships

The theme of our Career Academy is employability. The impact of this programme is proven by the success of our students.

Extending our links with employers In September 2015 The Priory Federation of Academies will run Level 2 vocational qualifications in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Construction, Childcare and Hairdressing. A purpose built centre is currently being built on the PCLA site – The Keyworth Centre.
