A peculiar people unto the Lord Exodus 19:1-6 Bare you on eagle’s wings Galatians 4:25 Mount Sinai in Arabia (no where near the celebrated mount) Romans 3:2 oracles of God Hebrews 1:1-2 Spoke unto the fathers by the prophets

Through Moses came Levitical Laws of Worship & Practice Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers,Deuteronomy Worship & Practice Special places of worship- a focal point- wilderness sanctuary Elaborate, yet portable, detailed A priestly tribe dedicated forever to its service to God & the people’s purification through sacrifices.

Laws Laws concerning feasts, Holy days, new moons Laws of marriage to whom & no infidelity with near kinsmen. Ways of treating others financially, usury, slavery, servants Strangers becoming part of Israel Punishment for sins All pointing the way, or schoolmaster to Christ

A Rebellious People Learned or witnessed- Idol worship in Egypt that would plague the nation. Exodus 32:16-25 Sinned a great sin at the mount Exodus 34:9-17 God warned about the people in the land of promise, or Canaan. Numbers 14:19-38 Only 2 from original Nation of Israel crosses Jordan Hebrews 3:15-19
