Syrian Women Committee in Reyhanli

to manage Syrian women affairs by providing information and services The Committee Tasks to manage Syrian women affairs by providing information and services to identify the needs of the Syrian family and provide the adequate services to organize informational and educational activities for the Syrian community to establish a social and educational network to support the Syrian woman developing her skills to support common activities between Syrian and Turkish women in all domains   We call for all Syrian women with interest in humanitarian and women affairs to connect with our committee to coordinate efforts for the social and humanitarian benefit of Syrian women in Reyhanli. Membership is open for all Syrian women.

Introduction Location: Reyhanli, due to the presence of the largest community of Syrians in Turkey Beneficiaries: The Syrian women of all age and all social backgounds

The Problematic The Syrian woman is suffering from social and psychological effects of the conflict in her country. She is unable to convey her needs to the local and international organizations in Turkey.

Obstacles and Solutions lack of resources ignorance of women rights and laws pertaining to women social circumstances affecting women lack of premisses for the committee  

Solutions The creation of Syrian Women Committee capable to solve the problems of Syrian refugee women in the host country  

Aims and Tasks of the Committee to manage women affairs and provide related information and services to identify and serve the needs of the Syrian family to organize information campaigns and activities for the Syrian community the creation of a social and cultural support network for Syrian women to help develop their skills to support common activities between Syrian and Turkish women in all domains  

The Financing through partnership with women organizations the creation of small projects that support women donations from privates and local institutions
