‘will’ Use it for: 1. Future predictions based on opinion: He´s not a great player but I think he´ll win the match 2. Sudden decisions: I won´t have an apple, I´ll have a peach 3. Offers: I´ll do the washing-up for you 4. Promises: Don´t worry, I won´t tell your secret

‘going to’ Use it for: 1. Future predictions based on evidence: It´s really sunny so I think it´s going to be hot today 2. Future plans: I ´m going to pick up my brother at the airport this afternoon

‘present continuous’ Use it for: 1. Future arrangements, something we have planned for a fixed time or place. You often use it with a time expression (next week, tomorrow, tonight, on Monday…) : I´m leaving to Paris next Sunday (also: I ´m going to leave to Paris next Sunday)
