Project 2: Curriculum Analysis Don Velicia Kay

Instructional Goal Teachers will create a multimedia presentation utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint for the purpose of communicating curriculum and classroom information to parents during an open house/curriculum night.

NETS Standards Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and understanding of concepts related to technology. Demonstrate continual growth in technology knowledge and skills to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies.

NETS Standards Apply technology to increase productivity. Use technology to communicate and collaborate with peers, parents, and the larger community in order to nurture student learning.

Objectives: The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation utilizing digital pictures of classroom activities. The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation utilizing textboxes.

Objectives: The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation containing word art and clipart. The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation containing audio files and other embedded audio.

Objectives: The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation containing custom animations. The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation containing slide transitions and timings.

Objectives: The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation containing a custom or template background. The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation and successfully package it as a PowerPoint show.

Objectives: The teacher will create a PowerPoint presentation and present it to an audience.
