Greg Easson – PI Dan Irwin – NASA – Co-PI Integration of NASA Global Precipitation Measurement Mission (GPM) Data into the SERVIR Flood Decision Support System Greg Easson – PI Dan Irwin – NASA – Co-PI

Background AMSR-E - passive microwave instrument to measure surface water condition changes in watersheds in Central America Measurements integrated into SERVIR to generate flood related products. Use GPM data with AMSR-E until Aqua ends use period Potential alternative to ensure continue flood forecasting

Objectives Test and evaluate GPM Mission data (1) to enhance the current satellite-based inputs into SERVIR, and (2) as a replacement for the AMSR-E data used in the SERVIR Decision Support System (DSS) for floods

Project Team Faisal Hossain - Tennessee Tech University (TTU) Robert Brakenridge - Dartmouth Flood Observatory (DFO). Timothy Gubbels – SSAI – GSFC Dan Irwin – NASA – MSFC Emil Cherrington – CATHALAC
