God’s Design for Work For the purpose of Cultivation (Genesis 1:26-28) “Fill and Subdue the earth…..” We are to carry on God’s work like a gardener tending to a garden – caring, shaping, and growing it. For the purpose of Service (1 Corinthians 7:17, 24) “Called and Assigned” Through our work we are to love and serve God and love and serve others. With this understanding, we consider all work as God’s work.
