Theme: Viral infections : causative agents of hepatitis(А, В, С, D, Е and others).

A place of carrying out of practice, equipment. - Dept. of Microbiology -to conduct practical exercises: a set of dyes used in staining bacteria -microscopes, pipettes, test tubes, spirit lamps, slides, tripods. culture of microbes grown on nutrient medium, -gun new information technology, equipment demonstrations, slides, videos. -TCB: Projector, slide, television, video.

Duration of employment - 3 hours (class periods) -135 minutes

The employment purpose ·        Writing general concept of micro-organisms that cause viral infections, their classification and types of microorganisms that cause viral infections. ·        Writing a concept on the laboratory diagnosis of viral infections. ·        Explain the principles of registration in the laboratory journal and technique of taking material from patients. ·        To provide information on the selection of culture media for culturing pathogens of viral infection and the concept of "identification" of microorganisms and methods of laboratory diagnosis of viral infections. ·        Writing information on prevention and treatment of viral diseases.

Task of teachers - Teach students about apart all viruses, to distinguish them from all properties - Teach students to put the correct diagnosis to the patient - Give students information about virological and serological studies of viruses that cause influenza and parainfluenza, evaluation - To provide information about what the culture media need to isolate pure cultures of the above viruses, identification - To provide information about the prevention of viral diseases

Tasks Student should know: ·        Classification and types of microorganisms that cause viral infections ·        Properties microorganisms causing viral infections ·        Types and differences from each other microorganisms that cause viral infections ·        The pathogenesis of diseases caused by pathogens of viral infections ·        The methods of laboratory diagnosis of wound infections and the rules for their identification ·        Rules of holding the therapeutic and preventive measures

Tasks The student should be able to do: ·        The concept of micro-organisms that cause viral infections, basic properties, differences between them. ·        You must know the basic properties of microorganisms, classification, basis of diagnosis. ·        For the diagnosis of sick student should know the methods of laboratory diagnosis and prevention of diseases.
