What are Bath Salts? Bath salts are synthetic cathinones. They are a manmade substance.

How Bath Salts Work Bath salts work a lot like cocaine or meth by raising the level of the neurotransmitter dopamine that regulates the reward and movement part of the brain. This increases dopamine levels which leads to euphoria and energy, raises the users blood pressure, and the heart rate.
