Today I will tell you two very interesting stories about St. Patrick and how they call “Little People”.

Legend has it that after having founded the first church, convinced the pagans to become Christians. Druids, who were the pagan priests, launched a plan that Christianity triumphed. They invoked a troop of elves to make a life miserable for Christians and the monk. Saint Patrick, instead of dealing with them they said “In the name of God Almighty I will drive out, unclean spirit” So the goblins banished from the church and young Christians were not molested.

In the forest of Ireland live a strange creatura calling Leprechaun. Every St. Patrick's day, the leprechauns tinker the shoes of the fairys. If you can entrap a leprechaun, he show you a cup of gold. But, if you lose the sigth of the leprechaun, he escape and don't see you the cup of gold.
