Partner and Industry Days a positive meeting !

Partner and Industry Days: the goal was to identify the good questions leading to promising collaboration with the TI, and to kick-off the work.

I heard positive expectations from Industry.

Main messages received There is an expectation/demand for ‘Access to TI’, covering: Information access, e.g. through Web page description, including a contact person at each facility. Staff access, including safety and responsibility sharing aspects Ideas, know-how, equipments, even with fast offers and quotations from Labs.  AMICI will work on setting up a ‘common access agreement’ proposal 18/04/2017, Padova AMICI Partner and Industry Days

Main messages received There is an expectation/demand for a platform for centralization of call for tenders below the EU threshold (~200 k€):  AMICI will work on the feasibility to set-up such a platform (although not strictly-speaking in the scope of AMICI project) 18/04/2017, Padova AMICI Partner and Industry Days

Main messages received There is an interest for a multilateral discussion/lobbying body, similar to Japanese AAA, to exchange information on the future project planning and implementation (e.g. ESS, FAIR/SIS…, ILC), airing the short term ‘sailing weather-report’. AMICI will investigate the feasibility to set-up such an European body, including EC influential members. In the mean time, AMICI will urgently work on assembling and communicating ‘Roadmaps’ to improve the visibility of Industrial partners on their ‘business model’. 18/04/2017, Padova AMICI Partner and Industry Days
