1 Corinthians 1:19-20 19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Do you think it’s possible that we think too highly of ourselves and too lowly of God?

“For God so loved the world…”

What God is telling us in this verse is that His love goes beyond Jews and gentiles. His love includes and extends to every tribe, nation and tongue, to those who don’t know Him, those who are evil and those who are God’s committed enemies.
