A body of fine art photography work by Zach Blackman Abstraction Point A body of fine art photography work by Zach Blackman

Artistic Statement Simplicity I am tired of putting specific meanings on my pieces of art. I don’t plan out my pictures I just take them. My pictures are simply pictures; they are taken moment by moment. My images are spur of the moment things, I don’t leave the classroom everyday telling my self what I am going to take. That is what I love about photography I don’t believe in rules and guidelines, I believe in taking photographs for the sake of photography, and yourself, every photographer has there own style. My photographs are simply me; they can be interpreted with your own meaning. I like to leave the viewers asking themselves what was the photographer thinking, when they took this picture. My pictures are simply what you see is what they are. Looking at a photographer does not show what they are thinking in there mind, but photographs or images do, they can express something that words cannot, that is the true meaning of photography. My photographs are simple and abstract, simplicity is what I am about. -Zach Blackman

Biography Life is wonderful My name is Zach Blackman I am a junior at Canyon Crest Academy I have many passions; I love to play basketball and lacrosse. I play both sports for the school. I love photography even though I have only been doing it for three years. In those three years my style and my passion for photography has changed. I am more into abstract photographs. I love to take pictures of random subjects. My pieces have specific meaning. You have to really think about it, my photos can be whatever you interpret them to be. I plan on expanding my photography career. Throughout the three years that I have been doing photography I have altered my style drastically, my style when I first started was very straight forward with not much meaning but as my skill has grown my photographs have become deeper and in more depth of my style, if you would look at my photos when I first started you would see a change in my two styles. I don’t know where my photography will take me and I don’t know if I will pursue my career but for now I will keep taking pictures. In my photographs you will see the raw and old style of photography using black and white photographs. I think that black and white gives the photograph a deeper meaning. Ever since I was little I loved to take photographs even though I didn’t not have a nice camera, with my resources I used many disposable cameras such as when I would go on vacation and such, I have always had a passion photography and I intend to excel in it. -Zach Blackman
