SBOE Organization and Authority Relationship between SBOE and institutions. Relationship with private nursing schools (NNU/BYU-I) Relationship with for-profit nursing schools (Carrington, ITT) Data collection and reporting by/to the SBOE Relationship with the Idaho Board of Nursing related to program approvals.

SBOE positions on… Credit limits of 60 and 120 credits for Associate and Baccalaureate degrees, respectively. Perceived barriers of having general education courses take too many credits away from needed clinical courses. Curriculum changes to promote standardization between schools of nursing specific to pre-requisite courses and core courses.

BSNs @ 2 Year Schools? A common debate around the country SBOE position is… In Idaho, this debate must address…
