English Bellwork- Monday, October 16 Directions: Write out ONE of the sentences. Then, create a rule about quotation marks in dialogue based on these sentences. 1. “Do you know what a UFO is?” Alicia asked. 2. “Is a UFO an alien spacecraft?” Isabella replied. 3. “No! A UFO is any unidentified flying object!” Rayna cried.

Then, create a rule about quotations in dialogue based on these sentences. 1. “Some sightings,” Sue said, “are identified as birds, planes, satellites, or balloons.” 2. “How funny!” Isabella exclaimed. “Some of the sightings are just hoaxes, right?” 3. “You are right,” Ray replied, “but I think it would be exciting to see a real flying saucer.”
