Imperative & Exclamatory An imperative sentence gives a command or makes a request. It ends with a period. Work hard during study hall. Please put the paper on my desk. An exclamatory sentence shows or strong feeling. It ends with an exclamation point. What a beautiful new dress you have ! Oh, how fast the fire is spreading !

Think A. Directions : (1) In the blank before each sentence, write the kind of sentence. Use Imp. for imperative and Exc. for exclamatory.
