個人簡介/Bio She was born in Jackson Heights, New York. She is the youngest of three siblings. Her is mother is a biochemist and her father was trained as a civil engineer. The languages she speaks are mandarin and English. She tried out for a minor role in a play in college and won the lead role instead. She had her big break in the film Charlie’s Angels. Liu is an artist who has had three galleries opened for her work. Lucy earned a bachelors degree in Asian cultures and languages. She has also hosted several TV shows.

职业生涯/Career Path Lucy graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1986 and then enrolled in NYU, but transferred the University of Michigan. She graduated there with a degree in Chinese Language and Culture all the while taking dance, voice, fine arts, and acting. She moved to Los Angeles and auditioned for small parts in shows such as “NYPD Blue”, “ER”, and “The X- Files”. The movie she first starred in was “Jerry Maguire”. Some other known movies she’s been in are “Kill Bill”, “Charlie’s Angels” and “Shanghai Noon”. She’s also voiced Viper in “Kung Fu Panda” and Silvermist in “Secret Wings”.

主要貢献/Major contributions Lucy has raised millions of dollars for breast cancer through the Lee National Denim Day fundraiser. She donated her share of profits from the art gallery to UNICEF. She has partnered with Heinz to help stop many health issues in third world countries. She’s also done an MTV EXIT documentary that raises awareness for social issues and human rights by telling the them about human trafficking, and humans being forcibly removed from their home country then forced to do labor with low or no payment at all.

為什麼選她？/Why we Chose her？ We chose Lucy Liu fir a variety for variety of reasons. First is the fact that she is popular and well known. Second she is a charitable person. Liu has started many charities and helps fund many medical fundraisers. Finally she is multi talented. Not only is she multi talented , she can speak two languages, and she is an artist.

學到了什麼？/What we have learned? We have learned that you can never judge a book by its cover. When you first look at an actress you just see the fake person on screen. But when you delve deeper you say that they can also be caring people. Lucy is a very generous person and has done many things to help the good of the people.
