Who’s In The Room With You Today EDA ETA SBA District Organizations Indian Tribes States, cities, or other political subdivisions of a State Institutions of higher education Public or private non- profit organizations or associations acting in cooperation with officials of a political subdivision of a State Economic development agencies Education and training providers Entities involved in administering the workforce investment system established under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act Business-related nonprofit organizations Public, private, non-profit or for-profit entities that: Have been in existence continually for at least the past three years; Have experience dealing with issues relating to 7(j) eligible small business; and Demonstrate they have the capacity to provide assistance to 7(j) eligible small business. 8

What We Committed To: Federal Support Teams Role of Each Team: Identify and facilitate the provision of assistance to ensure that clusters can access available Federal resources Identify point(s) of contact for the team including a lead contact or representative from one of the three funding agencies Coordinate and participate in quarterly learning events Coordinate site visits and monitoring activities, including the sharing of quarterly data and reports submitted by grantees What We’ve Done So Far: Each of the 16 federal agencies have reviewed the project proposals and submitted to ETA a description of the types of support and assistance that could be provided to each cluster, along with points of contact that will be able to make the appropriate connections within the agency. ETA has created a “catalogue” of available federal support, which will be provided to each of the grantees.

How You Can Engage the Federal Support Teams Grantees should review the catalogue and connect with available resources as needed and as appropriate. Grantees should connect with the Federal Point of Contact for assistance, if needed Grantees should track the assistance and support provided by the Federal Support Team and share this information in the Integrated Work Plan (IWP) template (suggested) Sample from Federal Catalogue: Agency: Department of Transportation (DoT) Lead Contact: Benjamin Franklin Technical Assistance Resources: Building a Highway Toolkit, Highways Planned for Oz County, Database of Roads Statement in FFO: DOT will provide technical assistance to winning applicants on the structure of the Federal transportation program, how to best integrate transportation planning efforts with regional cluster activities, and how Federal transportation funding can be aligned with the goals of …

Guidance on Tracking and Reporting Grantees can report outcomes or outputs that result from funded activities Outcomes or outputs can only be counted once to ensure no “double counting” under different funding sources Grantees must be prepared to state how they track and define outputs and outcomes

Update your Contact Information Any time the main point of contact for your grant changes, please remember to alert your Federal Project Officer (FPO) directly, and the funding agency National Office via the main mailbox (Jobsaccelerator@dol.gov) Federal Project Officers and the National Office regularly send out email blasts to grantees.
