2016 Non Profit Table: Script: Hi my name is… from the Cooperstown Farmers Market -Today we are working on the 2016 Schedule for the non-profit table at the market. I am calling the organizations that previously used a particular date to see if they would like the same week again this year. The reservations for the table at the front of the market are made on a first-come, first served basis. Last year xxx signed up for xxx date and I am wondering if you would like to reserve the table for that week again. If it hasn’t been decided yet, you may call Lyn Weir when you are ready, her # is 547-6195. Terry… More details in case there are questions: 2016 Non-profit organizations -The purpose of the non-profit table is for non-profit organizations to raise awareness of their public activities at the market. Organizations may hand out information, talk to the public about the group’s upcoming activities, sign-up new members, attract students for classes, and sell tickets for fundraising activities. -Organizations are permitted use of the table once a year, on a first-come, first-served basis. The list is usually composed in April for the repeat organizations, then the rest is filled in during the year. -Non-profits are not allowed to sell merchandise. -We ask that you arrive at opening time. Any earlier puts you in the path of vendors setting up. -We provide a 6’ table, two chairs, and you bring the rest. A table cloth is recommended, our tables are not pristine. -We are open for customers from 10:00-2:00 on Saturdays in winter. Closed April 30 for the OCCA Garage Sale. Reopen May 7 at 8AM-2PM for the summer months. -If you provide a simple game for children to play at your table or take along with them, that is always appreciated.   To schedule a market day or if you have questions please give Lyn Weir a call, 547-6195.   Thank you.
