PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS  PRINCE GEORGE’S COMMUNITY COLLEGE The Academy of Health Sciences @ Prince George’s Community College Prince George’s County Public Schools and Prince George’s Community College will opened the first Middle College High School in the State of Maryland, July 2011. The Academy of Health Sciences @ Prince George’s Community College located on the campus of Prince George’s Community College. The four year program blends high school and college work through the use of dual enrollment credits. At the completion of the four year program, students meet all requirements for a high school diploma and two years of college credit. The application process ensures: Fifty percent of the seats will go to students from low-socio economic homes, and/or first general college; Equity of participation from all areas of Prince George’s County; Admission is contingent upon student participation in a summer Bridge Program. The principal, teachers, and staff are twelve-month PGCPS employees. Day-to-day operations of the school are under the direction of the principal.
