The History of Praise Dancing

Where does praise dancing come from Praise dance dates back to biblical timtimes. The first mention of dance in the Bible is in the book of Exodus when Miriam, sister of Moses, took a tambourine and led the women of Israel into a dance after witnessing the parting of the Red Sea. They expressed joy and celebration in their dance after witnessing God’s great miracle on their behalf.

praise dance & it’s Makeup Praise dancing is a form of liturgical or spiritual dance. This form of dance focuses on worship instead of dancing for fun or appearances as the main focus, though enjoyment and performance can be integral parts of this Christian tradition.  Praise dancers use their bodies to help express the word and spirit of God. Praise dance is considered by many churches to be an acceptable form of Christian expression. Choreographed dances are often used before congregations to create exciting and emotional atmospheres. Sometimes a praise dance can be part of a bigger production in which an entire story is told

Dance Ministries growth Throughout history, Praise dancing has take on a number of Different styles to go along with the evolving world’s expectation in delivering the word. These different styles and types come under the categories of Mime, Praise dance, and recently Hip Hop praise.

This is why we are here Children work very hard to prepare their Praise Dance Presentation to the congregation every Sunday, and unfortunately (earth wise)that’s where it stops; once the performance or their praise message has been delivered. God feels and sees The commitment, integrity, and moral aspects of the performance, and He receives the Thank You & Physical Prayers that our dancers Implement and Present in their performance. The congregation only sees it as a great performce of worship and that’s where it ends. We are here to provide a Larger and more Appreciative final Stage for our performers to be acknowledged on, and commended for their hard work and dedication to their Worldly Crart. We are looking to be future Motivators and Inspiraiders for the future performers

Our total appreciation Thank you for your interest and time in your research on praise dancing and Its history. We look forward to many more years of Praise Dance Award Ceremonies and it continuing to give recognition to the dedicated, selfless, and humble individuals who sign up for it. We do this; Because it’s easier to build strong children, then to mend a broken adult; seeing you on the stage!!!
