CADET Leadership CAMP (CLC) 31 May – 3 Jun 2016

Cadet Leadership Camp Who is eligible to attend Cadets currently in the 9th, 10th and 11th grade Must be returning to AZ-862 for 2016-2017

Cadet Leadership Camp Who is ineligible to attend Graduating Seniors Non returning cadets (if you are not sure you’re returning that includes you) Incoming Freshmen School transfers

Cadet Leadership Camp Where is CLC Fort Huachuca AZ An Army post approximately 200 miles south of Chandler Transportation will be provided by JROTC

Cadet Leadership Camp What will be worn Cadets will wear ABUs the entire time CLC is in session. This includes travel to and from CLC Each cadet needs 2 sets of ABUs THE AZ-862 ISSUED ABUs ARE ONLY TO BE WORN IN TRANSIT The ABUs must have name tape and AFJROTC tape sewn on them prior to leaving ACUs, DCUs and MCUUs in whole or part are not authorized for AZ-862 BDUs may be authorized in certain cases

Cadet Leadership Camp What are the living accommodations Housing will consist of multiple 6-person tents Same gender tents In some cases smaller tents will be used Small number of same gender population from same school The tents will be provided by AZ-862 Photo is merely for aesthetic purposes not actual campsite or tents

Cadet Leadership Camp Will there be food provided? Three meals a day will be provided + + = Full Tummy

Cadet Leadership Camp The cost to attend CLC (not the cost for acquiring the equipment for CLC) NEW! Cost is $25 per cadet

Cadet Leadership Camp How does the selection process work? NEW! Every eligible cadet who desires to enhance his/her AFJROTC experience and further develop team building and leadership skills will be allowed to attend The cut off time/date for paperwork submission is 1530, 22 FEB 2016 ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE COMPLETED AND TURNED IN BY THE CUT OFF To include completed (not scheduled) sports physicals Paperwork that is incomplete will not be accepted
