The Excretory system is made up of the Kidneys, Bladder, Urethra, and Ureters Kidneys- Regulates the process of body fluids and salt levels, two organs in the lower back and have filters called Nephrons. They send urine to the Bladder every 15 to 20 seconds. The right Kidney is lower in the body because of the Liver. Kidneys are key players in the hydration( water ) levels in the body. Kidneys are made up of the renal artery ,and the kidneys remove urea from the blood. Kidneys
Bladder- Acts like a balloon because when more liquid is in the Bladder it expands. It sends signals to the Brain telling the body that it needs to go to the bathroom. The fuller the Bladder is the more intense the signals will be. The bladder is right above the sphincters which is a muscle that holds the urine, and protects you from leaking. Bladder
Ureters are little tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder. Ureters give urine a direct pathway from the kidneys to the bladder. Ureters
