“Food Glorious Autumn 1 Food!” Music: English: Science – Animals including Humans TASC: Design a zig- zag book: When I was young… Identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores Describe and compare the structure of a variety of common animals (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, including pets) Identify, name, draw and label the basic parts of the human body and say which part of the body is associated with each sense. Mathematics: *Number and place value *Length/weight/mass *addition / subtraction 2d/3d shape properties . Counting food – number and place value. Meal time addition and subtraction Measuring feet and hands using non standard units. Foodie Word problems addition and subtraction. 2D/3D shapes – fruit smoothie making. English: Captions – Billy’s Bucket Labels – ‘It’s not a Stick!” Instructions –How to Make a Smoothie!” * Knuffle Bunny – stories with a predictable pattern.
