Reach 8 Planning Grant Selected ICON Engineering for this work in 01/16, End date 3/31/17 Worked extensively with landowners to discuss concept alternatives and design plans 30% design plans completed end of September Grant extended to 3/31 to allow for more detailed designs up to 80% Notice of award for Reach 8 Crossings in December allowed us to focus more detail on project area around Quickmart

Twin Spruce Junction Stream Restoration Selected Whinnery Construction and S2O Design in 7/16 After landowner consultations, 30% designs completed in 11/16 Permit applications submitted 1/17 Expected construction 3/17-5/17

Reach 12 Infrastructure Grant Selected American West Construction with SMITH Environmental in 11/16 Initial landowner consultations already complete, survey and modeling underway Planning and design work during the winter, construction in summer 2017

EWP Stream Restoration Reaches 4 and 5 Design team (Olsson Associates) funded by CWCB completed design with landowner input in 11/16 Selected Frontier Environmental Services for construction in 1/17 Permits submitted 12/16 Construction starts end of 2/17-5/17

Home Access Program administered by Metro Volunteers 6 Coal Creek residents have put in applications as of 1/17 Most project grants do not allow private culvert upgrades

Flood Warning System Install gages in canyon, tie in with UDFCD existing system and alerts Benefits emergency response as well as hydrologic data collection CWCB contract is in place, waiting on completion of Twin Sprue Junction project work to install gages

Capacity Grant Extension Reapplied and received 18 more months of capacity grant funding, through 6/18 Funds staff and office needs, organizational capacity and accounting services

Reach 8 Community Crossings Funded at partial level by DHSEM Infrastructure grant awarded 11/16 In environmental review Plan to apply for additional funding through DOLA Watershed program in March 2017

CCCWP Organizational Development As of 6/16, CCCWP qualified for 501(c)3 status Strategic planning session completed in 9/16 Transferred capacity grant from TEG to CCCWP

Canyon Educational Events CCCWP has hosted public workshops and educational events on a range of topics in 2016, averaging 14 attendees per event: Water quality testing and well maintenance Coal Creek history The role of native plants in restoration Septic Systems and Wells Hands on hydrology Home Access Program

Partnerships with School of Mines, Riverwatch, others? Consider combining efforts/administration with other watershed groups in the larger St. Vrain watershed
