Stryker Glide Log roll patient to position slide under the patient with their head on the head picture Position hose in the bottom opening of the glide and secure the end with velcro Secure the patient in the glide with the safety strap with clip that clicks in Make sure SIDE RAILS ARE UP on both sides of the transfer and bed is flat before inflating Avoid gaps between beds. If there is a gap between the bed and stretcher a sliding board can be placed in the gap for smoother transfer Use the transfer straps to pull the patient to the stretcher. Turn the blower OFF for transfer. Leave the glide under the patient for the transfer back. Send the blower if a transfer will be needed Wipe glide with germacidal cleaning wipes. If heavily soiled, place in purple laundry bag for Transport pick up
