Kindernews Mrs. Walk – September 11-15 Math Peek-at-the-Week This week in math we will begin our unit on sorting. We will start by sorting objects with more than 1 attribute. We will sort objects by color, shape, and size. We will make graphs to count objects that have been classified into categories. Type here! Type here! Reading - We have learned the letters A-N and next week we will learn the letters O-S. We will also learn the word the. Our poem of the week is Itsy Bitsy Spider. Science - This week we will begin a unit on weather & seasons. We will discuss the four seasons and how we can tell what season it is.
