Clear brook’s science and engineering fair 2017-2018 Parent meeting

BENefits Replaces lowest, non-zero, test grade in one science class for the 1st and 2nd nine weeks with a 100. Awards and prizes: scholarships, money, gift cards, equipment, internships, recognition ceremonies, medals, trophies, certificates, paid trips!

Timeline These deadlines must be met in order to stay on track for competition and to receive your extra credit. September 5, 2017- Project proposals due to Mrs. Garza, signed up for Remind and Welcome Form filled out. September 11, 2017- Scienteer Account status must be at 100% and Project Survey questions completed. September 26, 2017- Notebook check, must have 5-10 sources for background research October 10, 2017- Scienteer must be at Teacher Approval (past 50%) November 1, 2017- Scienteer should be at 74%- End Date November 27, 2017- Scienteer at 100% and Project Completed December 6, 2017- School Science Fair January 2018- District Science Far February 2018- Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH)
