Primary Newsletter 4 – Summer Term 2 FRIDAY 30 JUNE 2017 Dear Parents/Carers YEAR 4 TRIP TO THE BRITISH MUSEUM This week, year 4 went to the British Museum to support their current topic. Read what the children had to say about their day: ‘I really enjoyed my trip to the British Museum as it was extremely interesting. It was one of my best school trips and very informative.’ Arjun 4W ‘I enjoyed my trip because I learnt a lot about the bronze and iron ages. It was very interesting and educational.’ Aarya 4W ‘I really loved my trip to the museum there was lots of amazing artefacts. It was very interesting’ Eryn 4W ‘I really enjoyed my experience at the British museum. There were lots of interesting facts about the bronze and Iron Age’. Louise SUMMER READING CHALLENGE This week, we had Tim Connelly from Lewisham Libraries come into school to talk to the children about the use of our local libraries and also to promote the ‘Summer Reading Challenge’. This is a really fun activity for the children to get involved in, and it will ensure that children’s brains continue to be stimulated throughout the Summer! Please see below details of how to register. .

This could potentially pose a risk to children and the suggestion in that parents disable the feature on their child’s app. Please google the snapchat website for further information. Have a great weekend Mrs Beckley Head of Primary
