Note that while reset of utilization to 0% occurs prior to encounter before perihelion, the increment of orbit number occurs at aphelion. Orbit number is for Ops an planning purposes, and is not known by or used by flight S/W Flight S/W manages 2 orbits of data volume on the SSR One SSR orbit “buffer” can be in the process of downlink completion while the 2nd orbit “buffer” is set to 0% full in preparation for the next data collection
