Yurok tribe By:Isabelle,Gabriel,Mercedez ,Kyle

Food Salmon was the main food they ate. They hunted wildfowl like deer for food and cloths. Wood peckers scalp and albino deer skin were also used to show wealth.

Plants as natural resources The yurok people used acorns for food. They also stored acorns. They gathered berries and roots. Baskets and canoes were made from trees.

Interesting Facts The yorok people used herbs, roots, sticks, and bark to heal sickness. They believed that how much land a man/woman owned was how wealthy they were and some sell there land to buy more land and are believed to get more wealthy for the woman they got more wealthy by healing sickness.
