Very Task | Very Smart Very Task brings you science-led ergonomics, ensuring maximum comfort throughout your day. Very Task brings you science-led ergonomics. The true objective of Very Task is to ensure the more subtle, yet all important, aspects of user comfort. Very Task is designed with multiple functions to better accommodate a wider percentage of the working population ergonomically.

Very Task | Asymmetrical Lumbar When standing, the spine naturally forms an “S-curve,” but when seated, the bottom of the back tends to round out as the tailbone is curled under causing the curvature to disappear. This can cause lower back pain when seated, so it is important to maintain the lumbar curvature that occurs normally in the spine of the lower back. Pull up or down to adjust the height of the lumbar pad in a 4” range. When adjusting the lumbar pad, the height and shape of the lumbar pad should coincide with the lumbar curve “the small” of the user’s back. Lumbar paddles can be adjusted independently of each other so users can achieve varying amounts of support on either the right or left side of the lower back. Very Task’s asymmetrical lumbar pad adjusts up or down to fit with the “small” of your back, while the side-independent paddles adjust the level of support.

Very Task | 4-D Arms The 4-D Arms adjust in four dimensions. Height There is a 4” range of height adjustment to accommodate users’ varying elbow rest heights. Armrest should be adjusted so the user’s arms are bent at a 90 degree angle or greater with the shoulders remaining in a neutral posture. Front-to-Back Front-to-back adjustment allows users to get as close as possible to a worksurface while maintaining effective use of the backrest. Side-to-Side This adjustment of the armrests allows them to be adjusted in closer to the seat pan for users with narrower shoulders and adjusted further from the seat pan for individuals with wider shoulders. Armrest Pivot Pivoting the armrest allows users to position them based on the tasks they are performing while still providing proper forearm support Very Task’s optional four-dimensional arms offer a four-inch height adjustment range, while the armrests also pivot and slide side-to-side or front-to-back for ultimate support.

Very Task | Back Lock/Forward Tilt The Very Task offers a single-position back-lock, allowing users to lock the back of the chair in an upright position for tasking applications. An optional forward-tilt using the same lever allows user the ability to elect an upright forward position while maintaining back and lumbar support. The Very Task offers a single-position back-lock that keeps the back of the chair in an upright position and an optional forward-tilt for back and lumbar support in an upright forward position.

Very Task | Seat-Depth Adjustment The Very Task seat pan can be adjusted 3 inches in depth in order to accommodate a wider range of the population. When sitting with the knees bent at 90 degrees, the seat pan should be adjusted so it does not touch the back of the knees. This provides the thighs with support without creating pressure behind the knees. The Very Task seat pan can be adjusted three inches in depth to fit a wide range of people, guaranteeing your thighs are supported without the seat pan touching the back of your knees.

Very Task | Seat-Height Adjustment Proper seat height adjustment keeps blood circulating to the lower limbs. A user should be able to place his/her feet flat on the floor or footrest with thighs parallel to the floor and knees bent at 90 degrees or more. With the Very Task, you can adjust the seat height to help keep proper circulation to the lower limbs by being able to place your feet flat on the floor with your thighs parallel to the floor and knees bent at 90 degrees or more.

Very Task | Synchronous Tilt The motion of the seat back is linked to partial motion of the seat pan to maintain proper lower body and lumbar support throughout the recline motion. Movement is healthy. As we recline in our chairs we stimulate blood flow and relieve the pressure on our spine. Movement is healthy; and as you recline in your chair, it stimulates blood flow and relieves the pressure on your spine.

Very Task | Tilt-Tension Adjustment The easy-to-reach and easy-to-activate side-mounted tilt tension control regulates the amount of resistance felt when leaning back in the chair, and the effort required to recline the chair backwards, to provide custom support for different body types and different work styles. The Very Task has tilt-tension control that regulates the amount of resistance when leaning back in the chair.
